Brabo’s heritage lies in the southern province of Brabant, where the first production and sales of goalkeeper equipment started. From this, Brabo steadily grew to include the production of hockey sticks, clothing, accessories, and other equipment needed to play and enjoy the sport of field hockey. The year 2006 is a turning point for Brabo when the brand was added under the Kubus Sports umbrella. Kubus Sports has taken full ownership of Brabo. Thus, Kubus is responsible not only for sales and distribution of Brabo gear, but also for all efforts in areas such as product development, export, and other (inter)national initiatives.
